I qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2006 and have spent a number of years working in general practice. In 2016 I became principal of a training practice in North Birmingham and have been enjoying the challenges that this role provides.

I joined the committee in 2017 as I am passionate about supporting dental professionals in the local area while ensuring that NHS dentistry develops to benefit both practitioners and patients. As a committee member I have had the opportunity to train as a mentor and help establish an advice and support scheme for Birmingham LDC levy payers.

In 2021 I was fortunate to be nominated to serve as Chair for the Birmingham LDC, which has a long standing tradition in supporting Birmingham levy payers, alongside representing at a national level, an undertaking that I will endeavour to continue. During my term I will continue to raise awareness of the Birmingham LDC and encourage levy payers to become involved.

Outside of dentistry I enjoy spending my spare time with my young daughter. In addition to this I am keen cricket supporter and cyclist.
